About Us
History
The original squadron was founded as a group for Naval Aviation enthusiasts nerds to fly together, have fun, and blow shit up. We aren’t a hardcore MilSim group with ranks and a chain of command, but we do have a CO, XO, and department heads.
Why? Because it takes a lot of planning and work to run a group like this. Teamwork makes the dream work.

Hi, I’m ION. I joined the Stingrays in the early days when there were less than a dozen of us, and I’ve been here ever since. Somehow I ended up as Admin Officer, although it’s a low-stress job. Still, I need to defend better next time.
In the real world, I live in East Tennessee with my wife and three very spoiled cats.
